Yet again this young and lively Society has produced a winner. From curtain up to the final bows the audience was captivated by the enthusiasm and superb performances of this young cast.
It is a challenge for younger actors to portray older characters and they took this on professionally.
All the members of the cast were excellent in their roles and the principals maintained their characterisation and accents throughout the show. I was particularly impressed by Leona Evans as Polly Brown. She is a true find for this Society.
It bodes well for the future for both this Society and LAODS that they have such enthusiastic and vibrant youngsters in this small community to carry on the tradition of musical theatre in Langholm.
