Collaborations
Centre Stage has had the privilege of working with professional practitioners on a number of projects:
2014 – Some of our members were selected to participate in workshop sessions with Scottish Opera and a number appeared in 2014 Macbeth Tour.
2014 – National Theatre of Scotland 5 Minute Theatre. A group worked on a devised drama piece which was filmed at Carlisle Railway Station and broadcast by The National Theatre of Scotland as part of the 5 Minute Theatre.
2014 – Members of Centre Stage joined other choirs to sing the Commonwealth Games anthem.
2012 & 2013 -The Tide Machine for the Annan Habour Regeneration and Dumfries Waterside Festival
2012 – Part of the Royal Shakespeare Company ‘Open Stages’ and partnered with The National Theatre of Scotland.
Centre Stage Music Group has performed at the Lockerbie Jazz Festival in 2012 & 2013 under the tuition of leading Jazz musicians.
Members of Centre Stage have gone to study Theatre, Music, Performing Arts, Acting, TV Production at University including the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland however importantly many just enjoy been involved with the group.
